Meet Dr. Alexis McRae

We are proud to celebrate the journey of Dr. Alexis McRae, MD, a trailblazer in both emergency medicine and medical aesthetics.

Born and raised in Williamsburg Brooklyn....

... Dr. McRae’s path to medicine was inspired by a deep commitment to helping others and making her mother proud. She earned her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine in 1998 and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn in 2001. Driven by a passion for hands-on patient care, she focused her career on community emergency medicine, ensuring that underserved populations received the critical care they needed.

Her expertise led her to Duke University Medical Center, where she became an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Emergency Medicine. As one of the founding physicians in Duke’s new Emergency Medicine Residency Program, she played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of doctors.

Let me start off by saying “Best Investment”.

My first visit to see Dr. McRae was a consultation, which by far was one of the most thorough consultations I have ever had regarding my skin. I have been to so many skincare specialists, but was never satisfied with my results until I met Dr. McRae. For the first time, I actually found someone who treated the core issue in which she told me it wasn’t just large pores, it was acne scarring that needed a series of treatments and not just your regular facials.

So far, I have done a series of microneedling treatments and a couple of Hydrafacials. My skin’s texture and overall look has improved drastically.
